We saw the Parque Güell, designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi (one of many things he designed in Barcelona). I had only heard a bit about him before we left for our European adventure, and have come to love his work.

We ate dinner that night at Restaurante Navarra, chicken paella. Amazing.
The next morning we went on a walking tour of the Barri Gòtic, including the cathedral and Jewish quarter, followed by the Casa Milà and lunch at La Vaca Paca. That afternoon we toured the Museu Picasso and had an early dinner and bedtime!
